I am often asked why do you still continue to fight for justice when your father has died? It is simple. It is not about my father. It is about a principle that all of us have the right to be treated fairly and with equity. Abu Dhabi has failed to respect or uphold the rule of law. The Palestinian Authority asks the world to respect international las yet it has failed to respect the law towards its own people who continue to suffer both under the occupation and the endemic corruption that exist.

What is it all about?
Are you concerned about the Rule of law and Abuse of Power?
Do you have business interest in Abu Dhabi?
Are you Palestinian and worried about Corruption?
Read our story here because these things affect all of us wherever we are.
Our politics are simple and that is we are all equal and should be allowed to live without fear or threat. We don’t believe a Government or Sheiks or Presidents should be above accountability.
What happened to us can happen to you and does happen in the Emirates more than just a one off.
Here in the West we need to know who our allies are. We need to ask Can they but their way in?

House of Lords 10 of November 2009.
Abu Dhabi and the rule of Law
It took years of just knocking knocking knocking until we got our voice heard but finally I am delighted that
Lord Soley, Labour peer will be raising a question in the House of Lords Tuesday 10 of November and the Abu Dhabi and the rule of law.
We would love your support in this as I am passionate about the rule of law and I feel it is the fundamental right of all us to be treated with due process. This affects all of us wherever we are. No Government should be above the law. Please lobby your MP and representative on this issue. The more voices the better.

There will be a viewing of an updated version of the Stephen Desmond film on dad being shown at the Frontline Club on the 22 of November. 'The Jaweed Al Ghussein Story', will be screened by The Frontline Club. Desmond said: "I am truly delighted by this honour and I am truly delighted that this film will screen at The Frontline Club during the one-year anniversary of Al Ghussein's death ." The film tells the story of how Palestinian patriot and political moderate Jaweed Al Ghussein (Chairman of The Palestinian National Fund) was abducted, held under house arrest in Gaza and subjected to a systematic smear campaign. The film focuses on providing a narrative history of Al-Ghussein's abduction, positioning the incident within a wider discussion of Human Rights abuse in the Middle East. Stephen was commissioned by The Times Higher Education Supplement to write an article on his film during the production process. Desmond's article Documenting Injustice appeared in the THES in October 2007
